Linda Sansom

Linda Sansom, Broker - General Manager

"Each day holds a myriad of challenges. It's an invigorating environment that keeps you on your toes!"

Linda began her career with RE/MAX Professionals in 1985 in the position of Deal Secretary for the Erindale Branch. At that time, the branch boasted 38 sales associates and was in growth mode. The synergy and enthusiasm was a welcome change to a conventional real estate office and challenged Linda to develop new skills.

The rapid increase in high-profile sales associates necessitated a new approach to managing their needs. Out of this chaos, the role of Administrator evolved to encompass supervisory personnel, quality support personnel, organizational expertise and an analytical approach to systems solutions.

The position of General Manager of Administration came from the growing need to co-ordinate the efforts of the branch offices and build a cohesive team of management and support personnel, all focused on providing sales associates with an efficient, dynamic work environment.
In 2006, Linda was appointed to the position of General Manager. She had been performing a variety of important duties at RE/MAX Professionals and had become familiar with all aspects of brokerage and the running of a real estate operation.

It was only natural that, with this in-depth experience, she should take over the day-to-day operations of the organization on an expanded basis.

A forward thinker with a bright mind and the ability to problem solve, Linda brings continued innovation, making sure the brokerage responds to and embraces any changes that will come her way in the future.

 

Darryl Mitchell

Darryl Mitchell, Broker/Manager for Kingsway and East Mall offices

Darryl joined us in January, 2010 and is managing our 2 locations. Most recently Darryl was area manager in Central Toronto for another franchised brokerage. Darryl is a Certified Mentor for Masters Edge from Richard Robbins International and 100 Days to Greatness from Brian Buffini professional development program for Realtors.

An Ivey School of Business Master of Business Administration Graduate, Darryl ascribes to life long learning. Darryl will continue to promote philanthropic work for Realtors with the two RE/MAX Charities, The Childrens Miracle Network and Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation. Also an international speaker, Darryl most recently has spoken on Business Mapping to international business leaders. As part of the @impact series Darryl has developed social media professional development for business leaders as well as a Business Mapping series for Realtors. The focus of Darryl's work at RE/MAX professionals will be to grow the already dominant position of RE/MAX in the consumers mind when it comes to service excellence.

 

Christine Mitchell

Christine Mitchell, Broker/Manager for Mississauga Office

Christine joined us in December, 2009 and is Managing our Mississauga location. Christine's most recent position involved the role of Area Manager for the Mobile Mortgage Sales Team of a major Canadian financial institution.

Prior to this position Christine lead a leading franchised office in the Mississauga marketplace for 6 years. This unique cross functional mortgage and real estate experience adds strength to her already well known professional development experience. Christine is known for her ability to mentor top producing agents in their quest to offer superior customer service to their many clients.

With over 20 years of real estate experience including the ownership of her own real estate brokerage, Christine's talents in marketing have achieved awards in three real estate franchise organizations. As well Christine had adapted her knowledge into training, coaching and mentoring in both the real estate and mortgage finance disciplines. Christine is a Certified Mentor with the Masters Edge professional development series from Richard Robbins International. She is also certified with Brian Buffini 100 Days to Greatness. She has authored six professional development programs including the newist addition to RE/MAX Professionals branded @impact Professional Development Program. An international speaker on life and business coaching.

Darryl and Christine are married and have 3 adult children as well as thier family dog named Bear.

 

Derek Levitt

Derek Levitt, Broker - Productivity Coach for the company

I arrived in Canada from England in 1968 with my wife, Lesley and our daughter, Mandy.  Over the years, we have been fortunate to have 3 children, Mandy, Nicole and Ryan and we have been further blessed with 5 grandchildren.

In 1972, I decided to become a real estate agent - no computers - no cell phones and the average sale price of a home was about $22,000!

In 1980 I was approached by Frank Polzler about joining RE/MAX Professionals.  "RE/who?", I asked.  Well, I joined the RE/MAX family in 1981 and have never looked back.

In 1990, I was asked whether I would be interested in the management side of the business and become the branch manager of the Mississauga office of RE/MAX Professionals.  I successfully and happily managed this office, growing our branch from 70 to 115 salespeople.  In January 2010, I made a sideways move and took on the role of Productivity Coach for the company (over 250 salespeople).  

By employing one-on-one meetings weekly coaching individual salespeople to build a strong and measureable business while maintaining a healthy balance of family, health and spirit, I am seeing their attitude and production improve week by week. 

 

 

 

 

Sue Treleaven

Sue Treleaven - Branch Administrator for Mississauga Office

As Erindale Branch Administrator, I have been with the Company since 1992 and thoroughly enjoy working in this cohesive, family oriented environment. Our sales associates and staff are culturally diverse, bringing many different backgrounds and experiences to my working life. This ever changing, fast-paced market and the interactions with so many good people keeps my job both challenging and invigorating.

 

 

Bonnie Miniaci

Bonnie Miniaci - Branch Administrator for Kingsway and East Mall Offices

I joined RE/MAX Professionals in the spring of 2000, initially as Administrator for the Kingsway branch office. Most of my working life has been in the real estate industry and I have enjoyed experience working on a busy switchboard, as a front desk support staff secretary and finally, earning a promotion to Administrator. Recently, I took on the administrative leadership role to oversee both Kingsway and East Mall branches. I love the real estate business and feel that if you don't enjoy what you do, you are in the wrong business. I enjoy the challenges the industry brings to me each day.

At home, I have the support of a wonderful husband, Rob and a beautiful little daughter, Sierra.

Shawne Pehar

Shawne Pehar - Payroll Administrator

I first joined RE/MAX Professionals Inc. about thirty years ago as a part-time receptionist at our East Mall Office. After taking a short break to raise a young family, I rejoined the Company in 1983 at our Head Office Location. At that time I took on a role in the Accounting Department responsible for Commission Payroll. My position has grown over the years, and as Payroll Administrator, my duties include processing Agent and Support Staff payrolls for all three offices, as well as preparing and maintaining all related payroll records, reports and personnel transactions, as required. I also provide support to Accounts Receivable/Payable as needed. I especially enjoy the "Human Resources" aspect and the diversity of my position as well as the interaction with so many interesting people. The Real Estate industry is ever changing - always interesting. It has been a pleasure to be affiliated with Re/Max Professionals Inc. for all these years.

 

Marisa Hills

Marisa Hills - Deal Secretary, Mississauga Office

 I joined RE/MAX Professionals as a receptionist in March of 1987.  Over the years, I have learned different positions and evolved with the office and industry.  Since 1997, I have held the position of Deal Secretary for the Mississauga branch.  On a daily basis, the position requires multi-tasking and is certainly service-oriented.  I work with the best, both hard working and fun.

I am happily married and a mother of 2 boys.  I try to remember the following:  Plan each day.  Prioritize your time.  Say "No", to non-essential tasks.  Work on a dreaded task for 10 minutes a day and before you know it, the job is done.  Get plenty of sleep and exercise.  Do your best.  Take a break.  Be yourself.  Live life!

Yasna Santoro - Deal Secretary, Toronto Offices

Working in the Real Estate Industry since 1989.
For the past 12 years I have been with Re/Max Professionals Inc. as a Deal Secretary for our Toronto offices.
I enjoy Real Estate dynamics and people interaction.
Having a wonderful family at home, I also feel fortunate to be a member of Re/Max Professionals Family.
We have a good professional team in our Head Office and I'm proud to be a member.
Teamwork divides the task and multiplies the success.

 

Michele Russell

Michele Russell - Accounts Payable/Receivable

I joined RE/MAX Professionals in October of 2001, working part-time in the Accounting Department, processing the sale transactions. Over the years, I was invited to cross train into other areas of the accounting department, such as commissions receivable. Now in my ninth year, my areas of responsibility encompass Accounts Payable and Receivable, and offering support in Support and Sales Staff Payrolls.

I love working for RE/MAX Professionals. Our broker/owners, John and Pamela Alexander are amazing people and it is a pleasure to work for their company. I feel we have a great team in our Accounting Department and I enjoy all the people I work with on a daily basis. We all work very well together and everyone is always willing to help eachother out. I feel truly blessed to work for this company.
